New Delhi: Celebrated Indian artist Jatin Das made a heartfelt appearance on August 4 at the ongoing Unity in Harmony exhibition to support his assistant and emerging artist, Vibhav Kshitiz. The exhibition, taking place at AIFACS from August 3 to 7, 2025, brings together a wide range of artistic expressions and is presented in collaboration with Laartconvention and the Dubai International Art Center.

Expressing his gratitude, Kshitiz described Jatin Das as “a man of his promise” who had committed to attending the event. “He came not just to support me, but to encourage all the young artists present. His presence brought a renewed energy and focus to the exhibition,” he said.
Kshitiz presented two cubist works at the show — SOLIVINE – On the Spirit of Life, an exploration of human vitality, and THE STILLNESS, a meditative piece highlighting the urgency of tiger conservation.
Reflecting on his time of learning under Jatin Das, Kshitiz credited the senior artist with shaping his understanding of India’s rich visual heritage. “He taught me that westernisation isn’t the only path forward. Our own traditions offer immense depth. Sadly, the commercialisation of the art world has obscured much of that,” he noted.
The presence of Jatin Das was not only a personal endorsement for Kshitiz but also a moment of inspiration for the many young artists who gathered around the master to hear his insights and reflections on art and practice.
