KARAM Safety expands outreach with month-long safety awareness campaign

New Delhi, March 30, 2026: KARAM Safety, a global provider of personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection solutions, undertook an extensive outreach programme during National Safety Month, focusing on promoting safety awareness across industries as well as communities. Expanding beyond the conventional observance of National Safety Week, the company extended its initiatives throughout the month to create deeper engagement and encourage lasting behavioural change.

As part of the campaign, KARAM Safety joined hands with leading organisations such as SMS Group, Ashok Leyland, and Tata Group to conduct on-ground training sessions at manufacturing units, construction sites, and industrial facilities. These sessions emphasised hands-on learning, helping workers understand the proper use of PPE in practical scenarios. By engaging directly at worksites, the initiative reached a broad base of employees and reinforced the importance of safe working practices.

Speaking about the campaign, Hemant Sapra, President – Global Sales and Marketing at KARAM Safety, highlighted that safety is not merely about meeting regulatory requirements but about building consistent habits. He said the extended campaign was designed to take safety conversations beyond workplaces and into everyday life, with a focus on informing and motivating people to adopt safer practices.

The company also expanded its outreach to the public through its regional teams by setting up awareness stalls in busy market areas. These interactive setups enabled direct engagement with citizens, spreading awareness about basic safety measures and solutions for daily life. The initiative received encouraging participation from both workers and the general public.

The programme also marked the launch of the 55th National Safety Week under the theme “Encourage, Engage, and Educate.” The observance began with flag hoisting ceremonies in association with the National Safety Council at KARAM Safety’s manufacturing locations across the country. This was followed by a keynote session that highlighted progress in reducing workplace incidents and underlined the importance of reporting near-miss events in achieving the organisation’s goal of zero harm.

Additionally, internal activities were organised to involve employees and strengthen a shared commitment to safety within the organisation.

Through its month-long efforts, KARAM Safety reaffirmed its commitment to building a strong safety culture that extends across industries and communities, ensuring that awareness leads to safer environments for all.
