Aawas Yojana Proposes ₹5,200 Cr Plan to Revive Uttarakhand’s Housing Stock

Dehradun – Aawas Yojana, India’s emerging housing technology platform, has submitted a proposal to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami urging adoption of a ₹5,200 crore housing revival blueprint. The plan focuses on rehabilitating unsold urban properties via transparent slot-booking and escrow-linked EMI ownership.

The company projects 15.8 lakh job-years, ₹300 crore in fiscal revenues, and significant tourism-housing synergy if the plan is adopted. “Idle properties are not just real estate gaps; they are lost livelihoods. We want to turn this into a growth engine for Uttarakhand,” said Rahul Pathak, Co-Founder & Director.
